Jonathan Shelley

Jonathan Shelley, Founder

Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant in 2006 at Deloitte, London, in Financial Services. He spent a year at UBS, London, and then four years at BT Pension Scheme where he was responsible for the financial and operational oversight of over £38bn in investment assets. During that time, he managed the setup and oversight of over £8bn in global fund structures with exposure to alternative assets ranging from Private Equity, Commodities, Alternatives and Secured Lending.

Since 2011, Jonathan has run the Shelley Capital group of companies which provides a range of secured lending and property development opportunities to investors as well as investment reporting solutions, via the Addepar Reporting Platform, to Family Offices.

Chelsea Kester, Business Manager

Chelsea joined Shelley Capital in December 2023 and is now responsible for managing all business, operations, and strategy across the Shelley Capital business divisions. In addition, she has a key role in maintaining high service levels in all areas of the business, including Shelley Offices clients and visitors. Chelsea plays a central role in driving operational efficiency and delivering growth across the Shelley Capital business divisions.

Denise Frohwein

Daniel Ickowicz, Head of Lending

Daniel joined Shelley Capital in June 2022 and now manages the Shelley Capital Property Lending business. He is responsible for managing and growing the Shelley Secured Property Loan Portfolio. This covers all aspects of loan underwriting & monitoring, business development, operations and legal due diligence. Daniel has extensive property experience, holds the MRICs chartered surveyor qualification, with previous roles at JLL, CBRE and Deloitte Real Estate.

Denise Frohwein

Denise Frohwein, Business Development Manager

Denise has worked in the wealth management industry for over 12 years, most recently in the Secured Lending space, with specific focus on business development and client relationships. Denise joined Shelley Capital in August 2020 and is responsible for growing the investor base and managing all client relationships. She also manages the development of relationships with brokers and introducers for secured lending deals. She has excellent people skills and has a BA in Business Studies from Middlesex University.

Kate Mcilvaney

Kate Mcilvaney, Fund Accounting

Kate joined Shelley Capital in February 2014, having previous experience in the Accounting & Finance sector. She holds a BA from University of the West of England. Her responsibilities include the ongoing data management and pricing for the investment assets as well as project management roles for the onboarding of the new clients onto the Addepar Investment Reporting platform.

Charlotte Wilson

Max Joseph, Fund Accounting

Max joined Shelley Capital in July 2022 after graduating with a 2.1 in History from the University of Birmingham. Max is part of the data management team providing the Investment Reporting service to our family office clients via the Addepar Reporting Platform. He is currently studying for the ACA accounting qualification with the ICAEW, with a part-qualified status aiming to fully qualify by the end of 2025.

Dan Baylis, Fund Accounting

Dan joined Shelley Capital in December 2024 after graduating from the University of Sussex with a BSc in Economics and Management. Dan is also part of the data management team providing the Investment Reporting service to our family office clients via the Addepar Reporting Platform.

Davina Pindoria, Operations and Strategy

Davina joined the team in December 2024 in a new role as the Shelley Group continues to grow across its existing business divisions. Davina graduated with a First Class Honours in Economics from Queen Mary University, London in 2021 with previous roles at BlackRock and Ernst & Young. She is responsible for improving operations across the business, driving efficiency, improving client engagement and service levels and delivering our growth strategy.

Georgina Savva, Marketing Assistant

Georgina joined in September 2024 and plays a key role in enhancing the digital and community presence for Shelley Offices. Her expertise spans digital marketing, social media, blogs, merchandise, and events, ensuring our brand is consistently represented. In addition to her marketing skills, Georgina takes a lead role in organising and promoting networking events that connect businesses and create valuable opportunities for potential clients and users of Shelley Offices. Her work ensures that Shelley Offices is not just a workspace but an exciting hub for innovation and professional growth.

Jane Graley, Lettings Manager

Jane joined the team in April 2024 and manages the Shelley Estates Liverpool office. She is responsible for lettings and property management, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction across the Shelley Estates properties in the Liverpool area. Jane brings valuable experience in property management and plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing service levels for the Liverpool portfolio.

Anita McGonagle, Serviced Offices Manager

Anita joined in December 2024 and runs our Serviced Offices at Kenwood House, WD6. She is responsible for ensuring that Shelley Offices operates smoothly and that the needs of all current and future tenants, visitors, and guests are met with the highest level of service. Anita takes charge of all client viewings, onboarding, and ongoing relationships, guiding clients through every step with a high level of professionalism. Anita also provides PA support to the Shelley Capital Senior Management Team. She has over 15 years’ experience in a variety of operations and PA roles.

Yael Jackson

Yael Jackson, Administration and HR

Yael has been with Shelley Capital since June 2015. She holds a BA from Thames Valley University. Yael manages all office, administration and HR aspects for the Shelley Capital group of companies. She has significant experience in operations and business organisation roles. She plays a key role with providing ongoing administration support across the various business divisions.
